About the villa

Some of Corfu’s most desirable villas are seen only from the sea. Penelope is one of these, tiered into an olive cloaked hillside directly above Krouzeri beach, and set just below its twin sister-villa Odysseus.  A great choice for groups of friends or extended families, Penelope has two open-plan living rooms, one at ground level with a games area and doors to the poolside, the other on the floor above, opening on to the sea-view balcony. Both are bright and inviting and each is complete with kitchen, air conditioning, WiFi and smart TV. The villa’s four bedrooms are also air-conditioned and placed for privacy, one on the ground floor, two on the first, and the master bedroom, with en suite bathroom and its own balcony, occupying the top of the house. Outside, a heated infinity pool is set in a lawned and decked garden, and a covered terrace is furnished for al fresco dining, overlooking the pool and bay and joined by a barbecue area. A series of steps lead down to the long pebble beach, with a couple of tavernas an easy stroll away. There are tennis courts at nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel, and boat rental can be pre-booked to make the most of the coast.
