Villa San Vincenzo

The sturdy, unadorned stone exterior of Villa San Vincenzo gives no hint of the fabulous rooms it contains.  Designed with taste and flair, the luxury villa incorporates 21st century facilities, while celebrating its ancient architecture. It is liberally sprinkled with big bold artworks, fitted with spacious bathrooms and equipped with mod cons from WiFi and satellite TV, to a very contemporary steel-finish kitchen under a vaulted brick ceiling. Each with its own style and atmosphere, a dining room, classically elegant study, sitting room and comfy TV room combine to provide ample social space. Bedrooms are airy and uncluttered, the four doubles in the main house complemented by a split-level room for four in an adjoining building, and a guest house, just across the lawn, with its own living room and kitchenette. A covered dining terrace here overlooks the swimming pool, and there are peaceful rural views from many perspectives in the extensive gardens. Positioned between the Chianti villages of Gaiole and Castelnuovo Berardegna, the villa offers optional cook service and is 3.5km from a local restaurant.

Important information

If the house is rented for 10 – 12, the guest house will be closed.
The very helpful English-speaking caretaker lives on the premises in a self-contained apartment with a separate entrance.
There is a very large outside dining table under the portico of the guest house and a further dining table outside the kitchen of the main house.

Please note arrival at this villa is between 4 and 8 pm.
After 8 pm a fee of Euro 50 is payable and after 10 pm the fee is Euro 100.
Any late arrival after 8pm is on request and needs to be agreed in advance.
Please kindly note that after midnight – if an arrival is possible – the extra cost is Euro 100 per hour.
